Well

the English haven't stopped complaining about Ganguly since the Lords scene! So I would not put too much emphasis on the way they look at some of his actions. But it sure is funny!

Well

things seem to be dull off late. Nothing exciting happening in life with lot of time devoted to work and sometime to personal issues. I don't mind time spent in this manner.
Lets see

AB

AD de Villiers made a statement that he aims to be the best batsman in the world. Well, he showcased his talent for Delhi Daredevils to score an IPL 100 his statement does not seem as if he was boasting! Now lets see if the 100 is enough!

Difference

There is a hell of a difference between us. That's not surprising. Actually, what stuns me is that I am capable of accepting such differences.Guess you are not always aware of what you will do unless you face it. Of course I resist initially. But with time it sinks in!

Anyway!

An insider's

view into Shane Warne's catching philosophy!
Also, you do get a peek into the narrator (Yusuf Pathan's) personality too!
Here is a funny bit
"No no...I have not even seen him bat. But I have been told. Even Laxman bhai used to say - 'You are Richards or what?!' I don't remember when I started it but I have been chewing gum for years now. Even in domestic cricket."

IPL 2

IPL 2 began yesterday. I, like the last year, am supporting the Delhi Daredevils. They made a good start to their campaign courtesy of Daniel Vettori's good performance. Sehwag played a brisk chancy knock. Apart from Delhi other people who succeeded include Sachin, Dravid and Kumble. The old men! Lets see what the rest of the season has in store for them!

How difficult

must it be for a gay guy to convey that to his mom especially in India. A conversation here!

Gay/Lesbianism is always a touchy issue. Even in the US where being gay isn't so rare its widely debated. I always believe any individual's sexual preference should be a matter of his/her own choice and hope that people are not judged based on sexual preferences. Also, people should realize you don't have to be gay to provide support to such a choice!

Well, soon

the fun will begin. Lets see how this edition will go!

That match

Balwinder Singh Sandhu's career highlight

Sandhu played only eight Tests and 22 ODIs for India. There never was a moment like that in his career - before or after. There are really not that many moments to rival this for gobsmacking, delirious pleasure, in India's one-day cricket history.

The incident described is

associated with that ball that got Gordon Greenidge in the opening overs of the Prudential World Cup final against West Indies in 1983.

Stability

I generally crib a lot on my blog. It has been more frequent off late. So, it is only fare that I do write when I happy too. Today was one of those days where I could find ways to laugh even when there was need for me to get angry.  In spite of some decisions that are not to my liking, I see potential for some stability. So, I hope this phase of stability will last. Lets see!

Bill O'Reilly

gets it from Roger Ebert here (Its awesome fun too!)
Link via ipatrix

Shilpa Shetty

Well, she surely should not be on my blog right?
But she said something that I can't but include
"I hope you can spin more."
Rajasthan Royals stakeholder Shilpa Shetty has great expectations of one of the team's fast bowlers, Siddharth Trivedi, at an event announcing the team's sponsor
I really wish these women stay out of cricket. I am not gender biased or anything but if you don't understand the game at least have the sense to shut up!

Not bad

for a guy who was considered a Tendulkar copy!

Somedays

you just wonder what is happening!

An interesting

study that encourages browsing at work. I feel some online browsing will not hurt!

Can't help

but laugh reading this piece by Sidin Vadukut on how complicated English language has been employed by financial whizkids to say the economy sucks!
