Pujara

So nice to read this piece on Pujara by Sidharth Monga.

In a cricket world full of stars here is a truely hardworking player without any support except from family. Kudos to what he has achieved. Irrespective of how his career unfolds, he should hold his head high.

As you read the article, you question the wisdom of Kohli multiple times. It is sad that he cannot see the value of Pujara. From how Kumble dealt with Pujara - I cannot believe he was a hard task master. It just does not cut it. 

Be Patient

It is hard to ignore some things in life. It feels things are unfair. May be that's not how we should look at life. Work hard and forget the rewards. Be proud and happy in your effort - easier said than done! That's got to be the goal. Lets go!

Was reading the legal discussion on the issue of triple talaq - the defense put out by the All India Muslim Personal Law Board is amazing

"Granting a husband the right to divorce indirectly provides security to the wife. Marriage is a contract in which both parties are not physically equal. Male is stronger and female weaker sex. Man is not dependent on woman for his protection. On the contrary, she needs him for her defence," said the affidavit, adding that triple talaq wards off the possibility of a rise in murders of women whose husbands want to divorce them.

So the act of treating women unequally is valid because Muslim men will resort to even worse things? Seriously? I mean come on!
