Someone may attempt to change your mind, but it probably won't happen. You are fairly certain that you know what is best and there isn't much anyone can do to make you reconsider. Even if you are presented with immutable facts, it still may take a few days for your thinking to shift. Keep in mind that your rigidity can backfire. Softening your stance may ultimately get you what you want.
