the article makes a good contrast of how NDA run government reined in fiscal deficit while the UPA government has allowed a huge fiscal deficit to further some populist schemes! However, will the politicians learn to be fiscally prudent? I don't think so! UPA politicians knew all the way that fiscal deficit is not good for the economy (don't forget we had Man Mohan Singh and Chidambaram the two most well suited men for the job!).
