Well, what a day. Australia worsened the situation with their batting. However, one thing was clear the pitch was a good one.
Indians started off badly with Jaffer falling cheaply. Laxman came in and what followed was an unbelievably elegant innings by VVS. He loves Australia and their bowling. Some of his shots were audacious. He easily flicked balls from outside off-stump to midwicket. It was breathtaking. At the other end Dravid was struggling so hard to get even singles. Somehow he managed to put up a good partnership of 175 runs. But both of them got out in quick succession leaving a lot now on sachin and dada. Hoping that they will deliver!!
